Temporary Colors is Jada Nycole Ellise's first full-length project. Consisting of eleven tracks written and produced by the Neo-soul multi-instrumentalist, Temporary Colors is the first installment of a larger project.
Released on June 19th, 2020, Temporary Colors is a 36 minute exploration of the singer's inner dialogue while navigating the newfound independence of adulthood in a big city. Bringing gentle jazz inspired melody to the less-than-pretty topics of generational trauma, depression and loneliness, Temporary Colors delivers a soulful form of healing.
A celebratory reflection of a young life's past, "Twenty-Three" displays the true meaning of growth. It was released on Ellise's 23rd birthday.
